DIVERSIFIED TECHNIQUE

This technique is the most commonly used of all chiropractic techniques and is the one probably most familiar to patients. Diversified technique uses a specific manual thrust to correct subluxations which have been identified by the chiropractor palpating your spine

Chiropractors have a thorough understanding of normal spinal anatomy and biomechanics and are able to alter the direction, speed, depth and angle of the thrust to exactly what is needed to correct your subluxations. This type of adjusting may produce a “cavitation” which is a popping or cracking noise due to movement of gas and fluids in the joint.

ACTIVATOR METHOD

The Activator Method uses a hand-held instrument called the Activator Adjusting Instrument to deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint. This treatment incorporates an accurate spinal analysis and adjustment that is on target, precise, and painless. Activator method is low force approach to chiropractic, and its has been proved effective on all ages by restoring spinal balance, safely and comfortably. It’s also helpful for adjusting shoulders, wrists, elbows , knees and other joints of the body.

FLEXION-DISTRACTION SPINAL DECOMPRESSION TECHNIQUE

This is a specific chiropractic technique that uses mechanical and hands adjustment utilizing a special table where the spine is tractioned and flexed forward. This technique is primarily utilized to treat lumbar disc herniations, non-disc spinal disorders, and to increase mobility of spinal joints.

DFM GRAVITY INVERSION TABLE

Inversion therapy puts gravity to work for you by placing your body in line with the downward force of gravity. Using your own body weight as a natural form of traction, inversion elongates the spine by increasing the space between the vertebrae, relieving the pressure on discs, ligaments and nerve roots. Less pressure means less back pain.

Inversion can also help to encourage good posture. When inverted, your body is in line with gravity. Your spine wants to naturally go to it proper form . A regular program of inversion can help you to maintain proper posture and keep your body in balance.
